Montville Main Street

In the 1890s Montville's Main Street was just wide enough for a bullock team to tread its way. Houses soon sprang up on the western side of the road with the eastern side considered too close to the escarpment. There were only two stores for many years. Commercial buildings were constructed from the late 1970s.Now with its tourist shops, cafes and picturesque surroundings, it's the perfect place to take a leisurely stroll and enjoy a meal.
